Celebrating Father’s Day in SWFL!

With Father’s Day fast approaching, you’re going to need some fun weekend plans to celebrate.

This Father’s Day what better way to show your appreciation for Dad than a free sunset cruise on the river! Dad will get to set sail for free with a purchase of an adult ticket or child’s admission. Pure Florida’s Double Sunshine will be departing from Naples and will cruise down the Gordon River. With three different departure times throughout the day and a sunset cruise at 7:15 p.m., you will most likely get a chance to see the dolphins and manatees. Snacks and beverages will be served on the vessel so you can relax and crack open a cold one with the family. There’s nothing like watching the golden beams from the sunset bounce across the shimmery horizon, a terrific way to end a great Father’s day.

The sunset cruise isn’t the only jamming activity going on this Father’s Day weekend.

The SummerJazz on the Gulf will be taking place at the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf club on Saturday, June 17^th. This free concert will be featuring the Betty Fox Band, an International Blues Challenge finalist, known for their funky riffs and soulful blues. Bring your lawn chairs and take a seat or snap your fingers to the beat as you get lost in the groovy tunes.

And don’t forget to grab a bite to eat! The Shell Factory, known for its fantastic family friendly atmosphere, will be having Special Father’s Day Cookout from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This will be held in the Nature Park and includes free admission for all the Fathers, not to mention free mini golf for the family and a fun zip line ride.
