Fun Indoor Activities for when it’s Wet & Wild!

The rainy season has officially begun and while most of the days in Southwest Florida can be spent outside enjoying the sunshine, we also get rainy days !

And like many of us know when it rains in Florida it POURS! but the rain should not hold you back from enjoying your time in Southwest Florida! There’s plenty of fun indoor activities and attractions. If you have kids we have rounded up the BEST places to spend your rainy days throughout Southwest Florida.

If you’re looking for a relaxing rainy day activity, there’s always movie theaters. There are more than 10 movie theaters throughout the SWFL area, and they’re all convenient, great and sure to be a good time! Something a little different and also enjoyable is Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, they offer dinner and lunch while you watch broadway inspired live shows! Broadway Palm is located at 1380 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907.

If you’re more of the active type or are trying to wear your kids down (lol) then the perfect spots would be Skyzone, HeadPinz, Zoomers or Mike Greenwells. 

Skyzone is an indoor trampoline park located in Ft.Myers. It’s the only of its kind in this area, because of this it’s a very popular place to bring the kids and it’s also SO. MUCH. FUN. Skyzone has activities and programs, like SkyFit which is a workout that burns up to 1,000 calories per hour! They will also host birthday parties and group events! They are always offering different deals and discounts, make sure you check them out!

Other fun indoor activities would include bowling and arcade games! and you can do both of these at HeadPinz. There are two locations in SWFL, one in Ft.Myers and one in Cape Coral. Both have a full arcade game areas, bowling, and even a VIP Bowling area for private parties. The Fort Myers location offers Laser Tag. If you are hungry and thirsty you can also enjoy food and drinks from Nemo’s right there, they even offer fine dining options! The HeadPinz locations are at: 14513 Global Pkwy.,

Zoomers in Ft.Myers is another great option for the kids, they offer 2 stories of arcade style games for the whole family as well as many outdoor rides, rollercoasters, mini-golf  and Go-karts! (Leave those for a sunny day though!)

Mike Greenwells is also similar to Zoomers but it is located in Cape Coral. They also have a full arcade, mini-golf, and go-karts. They also offer food and drinks!
