2 Cities in SWFL Named “Unbeatable Florida” Family Vacations!

Two cities in Southwest Florida made the “15 Unbeatable Florida Family Vacations with Kid-Friendly activities” TripAdvisor List!

Sanibel Island was ranked number 2 in the list citing “lots of family fun in the great outdoors”. Sanibel is known for their extensive bike trails that take you around the island and through nature parks, here you and your family will see many of the native SWFL birds and other wildlife. The 15 miles of beach allow for a peaceful beach day without the crowds of other popular beach destinations. Therefore making Sanibel Island and the neighboring Captiva Island the perfect mix of nature trails and beach activities for the perfect family adventure!

Fort Myers Beach also made the list! With 7 miles of beach and multiple family-friendly restaurants this is the spot for a family getaway! The proximity to shops, restaurants and places to stay make this destination easy for families traveling with children or those that do not have transportation, you can take the trolley or simply walk to one of the many beach accesses. This beach has more of a crowd and nightlife entertainment in comparison to Sanibel Island. There’s also many day activities like water ports rentals on the beach and shopping on Fort Myers Beach “Times Square”.
