At the 3rd Annual Airing of the Quilts on Saturday, March 18, 2023, come and purchase quilts pieced from all over the USA to support various supports in Fort Myers, Florida through Saint Hilary’s Outreach Projects.
“Airing of the Quilts” was a custom where winter quilts were hung out to air in the sun for a day prior to being stored for summer.
This National Quilting Day, come join the fun at the 3rd Annual Airing of the Quilts, a quilt show and fundraiser to support local impact efforts – 9am-2pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Entrance to Quilt Show and Fundraiser is FREE.
The finished quilts will be hung on clotheslines on the front lawn of Saint Hilary’s Episcopal Church for your viewing pleasure. Quilts will be available to purchase (cash/check + for a fee, credit card).
New this year will be the addition of a local arts and crafts vendor show. Food will be available for purchase, with also new this year– the Green Market farmers’ market. Live music too!
Kids’ activities, including an inflated bounce house, are also free.
