Charity & Fundraising Events in February

This February there are 3 special fundraising events that will serve to gather funds for charities such as: Harry Chapin Food Bank, ACT, Cape Coral Animal Shelter and many more!

Hosted by Kindleigh, The Kindness Ball (An Adult Prom) will be its first formal fundraising event and it will feature six other local organizations! This event will take place on Friday, February 22 from 8-11pm at Crowne Plaza Fort Myers At Bell Tower Shops. There will be open bar, appetizers and a great DJ. Dress in formal or semi formal attire. All proceeds in support of Kindleigh + The Kindness Community as well as other local organizations such as Dress for Success, LARC, KKids inc., Hope Clubhouse, Cape Coral Animal Shelter, and ACT.  Tickets are limited, so purchase yours today! Saturday, February 23 at the Ice house Pub located in Punta Gorda, there will be a Pub crawl and Food Drive benefiting the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Make sure you get there at 10:30 AM for registration! The crawl starts at 1:30 PM from Icehouse Pub and travels to Belgian Monk, Deans, The Tiki, Lee Roy’s Southern Kitchen, Shorty’s Place, Downtown Gatorz and will be finishing at Hurricane Charleys. If you bring a canned food item you will be entered to win a 3 day caribbean cruise. There will also be live music by the band Brigid’s Cross.For more event info and where to buy tickets click here.

Another great fundraising event is being held that same Saturday at Rockade’s in Cape Coral.

If you are a Bingo fan, this one’s for you! Drag Queen & King Bingo will start at 7 PM and go through 10 PM on Saturday, February 23. This event will be raising funds for 4 Words Foundation which is a Non profit supporting cancer education, awareness, and patient financial assistance. This event is hosted by All Heart Entertainment and happens every 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. For more details on where to register click here.
